Tristan Masters, global director of analytics for Standard Media Index

Tristan brings 10 years of experience to the SMI team; coupled with a passion for analytics and data visualisation, and a vast working knowledge of the media industry in the APAC region.

Following the completion of his PhD in Econometrics, Tristan worked as an Economist for the Australian media regulator, providing strategic input into radiofrequency spectrum management and regulatory frameworks across television and radio markets. More recently he has held senior commercial analytics roles in both the subscription television and advertising industries, working closely with Executives of well-established media organisations, and managing implementation of Business Intelligence products to produce data-driven insights which underpin corporate strategy.
